Busbars

Busbars (or conductor bars) are large-section metal conductors used to distribute electrical energy within electrical panels, industrial plants, and power systems. They connect multiple circuits safely and with low losses, ensuring high current capacity.

Manufacturing technology

Materials: mainly electrolytic copper or aluminum for excellent conductivity and mechanical resistance.

Graduation: The bars are cut, punched, and bent according to the plant layout; presses and CNC machines are used for precision and repeatability.

Surface finish: They are often tinned, silvered, or nickel-plated to improve conductivity and prevent oxidation.

Insulation: PVC coatings, heat shrink or insulating paints for protection against accidental contact and electric arcs.

This technology is essential in high-power applications, where efficiency and safety are priorities.
