Cold die casting
Cold die casting is a metal forming process in which the material, usually a metal alloy, is compacted at room temperature without the need to heat the metal.
The material, in the form of metal powder or small pieces, is inserted into a mold and subjected to high pressure using a mechanical or hydraulic press. This process allows for parts with high dimensional accuracy and a good surface finish, reducing energy consumption and time compared to hot-melt techniques.
